CrossFit is the foundation of what we do at Shokunin. Each class combines coaching, strength or skill work, and conditioning in a structured session that can be adjusted to your current ability.
Most classes are approximately 60 minutes and include a coached warm-up, movement instruction, strength or skill development, and a conditioning workout.
Depending on the day, you may squat, press, deadlift, run, row, bike, practice gymnastics, or work on Olympic lifting. The movements change, but the goal stays the same: improve broad, useful fitness over time.
You do not need to get in shape before starting CrossFit. Coaches adjust loading, range of motion, movement complexity, and intensity so new athletes can learn safely while experienced athletes can continue to progress.
Our first priority is helping you understand the movements and find the right version of the workout for you.
CrossFit members can also use open gym opportunities and specialty programming to work on strength, Olympic lifting, endurance, mobility, gymnastics, and other goals. Optional 24-hour member access is available for athletes who need even more flexibility.
